But people who put nuts in brownies are an exception.

1. I love nuts in brownies.
However it is bad for people who can't eat them.

Sorry you didn't get to eat that brownie.

2. It totally ruins the brownie.
The point of the brownie is chewy chocolatiness. I say nuts to nuts.

13. it is good. both he and the girl do a wonderful job.
alpha dog gripped me from the very start and tied my stomach into knots. more and more knots as it progressed, or rather, descended into the dark places of hell. justin timberlake surprised me -- as did all the young actors in the movie. i don't want to go into any details but, for sheer impact i give it a thumbsup.

9. I love nuts. I love chocolate. I HAAATE them together.
I agree with the no nuts in brownies thing. The only thing worse is cakes with shredded COCONUT all over them! ECCHH! Why not just sharpen crayons and let the wax fall on the damn thing!

11. I find the walnuts compliment the brownies
For me it is a happy coupling of different textures and tastes.

I used to chop the nuts almost into an undetectable powder when I put them in brownies and chocolate chip cookies because my son feels the same way you do. Guess what? He still tastes them and objects each and every time.

I have now found another solution for the cookies. Half the batter gets nuts, the other half does not. For brownies I place the walnuts on top of half of the batch. Everyone is happy.

14. I feel the same way about people who put pineapple in carrot cake!
It's not quite as bad as nuts in brownies but still a waste of good carrot cake.
