My kitty boy is a slobberer!
When he wants attention, he will jump up on the couch next to me, sniff my hand, and give me LOTS of kitty kisses, licking and purring all the while.

2. So is one of mine
he kneads on any part of my body he can find, meanwhile drooling (sometimes) copiously. While it is messy, I love that he feels he trusts me enough to "spread the drool".

LOL!

3. my cat used to drool while I petted him...
and he preferred to be lying on my chest while being petted...which meant I had to keep a tissue handy to wipe the drool off his face, or it would drip onto mine...WAY too close to my mouth.

I miss the little guy.

4. One of mine is a licker.
He doesn't drool; he just licks and licks and licks. I can't decide whether maybe he's tasting me. For later.

7. "Lion cut" kitty is a pic I found on one of the Internets.
So I'm in no danger from him. But I worry a bit if Jeoffry (the licker) might get too hungry, some day.

6. I used to have a cat that would lick your face.
All you had to do is pick him up and say, "Give me a kiss!!" and he would start licking away. It was fun to do when we had guests.

9. He's hungry for milk
Drooling cats - kneading cats - Cats that drool and knead

Occasionally adult cats will drool while they are being petted, massaged or while nuzzling into fabrics. This drooling is usually accompanied with the kneading of the cat's paws. This paw kneading action is identical to that performed by nursing kittens and it is this behaviour that the cat is reproducing involuntarily in adulthood. Those adult cats that do drool/knead, often choose sweaters, coats or other clothing reminiscent of their original suckling environments. There, the nursing kittens kneaded their paws on their mothers, to stimulate milk flow from their teats. The anticipation and smell of the milk caused the kitten to salivate and drool.

11. Cleo is nursing right now
on my finger and purring and kneading like crazy.

George is a face-licker and drooler. he practically made out with me earlier this week.

Ratso-Batso is a drooler and kneader.

they were separated from mom very early, so they transferred their kitten/mama attachment to us early on, and just never "grew up" since they don't have to.

i love it

14. Drooling kitties are happy kitties!
One of my boys is a drooler, I've nick-named him "Drool-Meister General." As long as he's in the mood for attention, I can get him slobbering more than a Mastiff.
