5. What is it with Portishead?

I like a handful of their songs, but their entire oeuvre is 'Music to kill yourself by.' Their catalog is nothing but relentless downers. I find myself starting to really loathe them.

seriously, some of it is downer stuff, but they are not an upbeat band.
