What's your biggest wardrobe issue?
Mine is that I bought a brown raincoat. So, I can't wear brown pants with it. So, when it rains I have to make sure I have another colour dress pant at the ready. It's a pain in the ass.

1. Buy a different color rain coat so that you have more options.

4. Trying to find pants that fit
If you're a woman with not much of a waist and big hips/thighs it's almost pointless. Almost everything that fits my waist looks like bell bottoms because of my shape. I'm OK with some tapered leg pants but now that the straight leg, boot cut/flared bottom are 99% of what I can find it's pretty hopeless. No I will not wear elastic waists! Blech!

23. I'm the other way around
no hips and more around the middle so all of my pants bag in the butt. I tend to wear more skirts than dress pants.

14. Ditto that. I end up getting pants with elastic waists
which are not great looking. But they tend to fit, sort of.

17. My issue is with the length
But I know what you mean...the people that make pants think everyone has a perfect body.

It's so hard finding pants being a 5-foot-4 male.

19. I can imagine! My dad has to take all of his pants to the tailor
for re-fitting. But then, he refuses to buy brand new pants, and gets all of his clothes at resale shops. So, not the largest selection. He's 5'10" and says many pants are still for men taller than him.

Shopping with my dad is the greatest fun! He goes to Goodwill or St. Vincent DePaul's and acts like everything he finds is a major discovery. Always very proud of the treasures he digs up--even if they have to be tailored later. Really--great fun!

11. Having a 31-inch waist and a 34-inch inseam
You can find 32/34 pants sometimes (lots of 34/32s, but needless to say they don't fit) and I can get out of them while they're buttoned and zipped.

31/34 are REAL hard to find. Usually I buy all the 32/34s they have in stock (when it's one pair it's not as dramatic as it seems) and wear a belt with them.

24. I have the same problem with the opposite size.
I have a 34 inch waist and a 31 inch inseam. All my pants have to be hemmed or I walk around in high waters. Either way it's a pain to not be able to just buy pants and start wearing them. "What size do you wear?" always makes me cringe.

26. Is there a western-wear shop near you?
I wore 31/34 pants for years before male menopause :grr: and I could always find 'em at western stores. Wrangler Slim-Fit — best-fittin' pants I ever wore. Paid more for 'em, though.

It has been a problem since I first started wearing the damned things. :( I am always digging around the neck of my shirts, trying to fish them our of my shirt sleeves.

21. About 40 pair of pants and maybe 4 of them fit
They are all waist 34 and right now I'm closer to 36, after gaining 12 pounds on a 3-week trip to Hawaii. No way I'm buying waist 36 and surrendering to this weight.

It wouldn't be so bad in winter since two of the pair I can fit into are corduroys, but with triple digit temps approaching here in Las Vegas I'm going to be hurting unless I dump at least half of the bonus weight in a hurry.

28. Everything is made for people taller than me.
Petite clothing is cut for people with small boobs. Non-petite clothing is cut for tall people. The arms are too long or the length is too long.

Edited on Mon May-07-07 09:54 PM by sfexpat2000
So, that lets out all my hoodies and jackets. Womens' clothes have no EFFEN' POCKETS!

So, unless I want to smother, there's no place to put keys, phone, or cigs. Let alone dog treats, i.d. or doggie bags.

That's ridiculous! Sometimes I think I should learn to balance a wide basket on my head. Or, :wtf:
