I really hate the Sopranos [Warning: Spoilers]

I know I'm in the minority here, but everytime I try to watch the Sopranos, I hate it. I've just never gotten past the hang-up that we're supposed to sympathize and care about these people who are basically cold-blooded murderers. Like tonight's episode, where a guy gets thrown through a window, a guy gets sulfuric acid poured on his toes, and a guy in AA gets shot to death. I know the mafia characters are supposed to be "vulnerable" and "sensitive," but I thoroughly reject that frame when these same characters murder other people on a regular basis.

Anybody else here agree with me?

1. no, i don't think they're likable, i think they try and show that they are humans, damaged

and are capable of doing very bad things and occasionally some good. i don't they're glamorized, i think they show what living that lifestyle does to a person.
