.... I can't promise anything, but I have helped a couple people find someone they were looking for in the past.

First and last name of the deceased, along with the state (and city, if possible) where the relatives are would be enough to start with.

4. If you know the town of origin for family

you might want to run a small ad in the local newspaper. Don't have to say anything about the person being deceased, but maybe more to the point of the importance to contact you regarding that person. Also, if you do know the town of origin, the local newspaper and county clerk may be able to help you out.
