Surely others have noticed all the blue and yellow ads, no?

I just counted 5 commercials in a row on CNN Headline News with blue and yellow (or orange) logos and graphics, including the Headline News graphics, which were recently blue-and-yellowized. CNN, MSNBC, and the Weather Channel are also blue and yellow now, as are at least half of the commercials I see. Who decides these things? Karl Rove? And what if you don't like blue and yellow?

I posted on this vital topic a couple of weeks ago without much response, but it is so much more obvious now! It can't be just me, can it?

Herdthink is strong in marketing. Whether it's retro kitsch or xtreme! cleaning/deodorant/fun/whatever, they all tend to lurch to whatever the new trend is at once.
