Anyone else have this problem with Dish Network?

On FX, channel 137, I have to turn the volume to max to hear a program. Then a commercial comes on and blasts me out of the room.
That's the only channel I have the problem on.

1. That doesn't sound like a problem with Dish

but a problem with the network itself. There's a channel or two that I have that problem with.

2. I had that problem with one of my local stations

It was my local ABC affiliate. It was very frustrating. It eventually went away. I don't know if re-setting the box would make a difference.

4. We have Direct TV and some of the channels do the same thing

I think it is done at the individual channel, and not a whole lot you can do unless you write a letter to the offending station. It is really annoying.

I notice that on DVDs the music tracks always blast me about 10 feet backwards, and the dialog tracks are so soft I cannot hear them.
