Stopped having 'em altogether. For years. Kept my endometriosis in check, too.

4. When we were kids, my mom sent my brother to the store to get napkins

and you can imagine...he came home with "sanitary napkins". He thought they were better because they were "sanitary", which isn't unreasonable, when you think about it. My mom just said they weren't really what she wanted, nbd. Later, when he and I learned about the birds and the bees, he was first embarrassed and then we both had a good laugh. And would chuckle every time we walked by 'em at the store.
