Microsoft Bob was a Microsoft software product, released in March 1995, which provided a new, nontechnical interface to desktop computing operations. Despite its ambitious nature, Bob failed to penetrate the market and was Microsoft’s most visible failure as a company. Microsoft's Steve Ballmer named Bob as one project "we undertaken ... where we decided that we have not succeeded and let's stop."<1>

1. I remember MS Bob, but I never knew anyone who used it.

2. I bought the application at a flea market for $2

but never bothered to figure out what to do with it

never seen it but I remember the Program Manager in 3.2. Windows 3.2 was just another program on my 386 Model 80 IBM machine. We would open it up and laugh at it....."why would anyone want this to use all the time?"....lol

Then, from out of the cold green screen of UNIX internet applications I caught my first glimpse of Netscape and the WWW!
