:wow: tour de force performance

You MUST see it.

I'll kick myself for years for not having seen it in the theater.

25. I watched Wednesday night and yes, Mirren as always was amazing.
That scene with the stag - how she ran the emotional mile without losing control of her performance. Brilliant.

other title? I want to watch for it on DVD.

I LOVE Helen Mirren, and I really like Elizabeth I as well.

42. I did and I'm pissed
Four hours of my life spent watching a great performance only to realize it was not the greater performance by the same actress of a different queen named Elizabeth.

Glad all of you liked it, but I would like nothing better than to see the British Aristocracy and all of the gentry financially gutted.

26. Christopher Reeve and Ismael Merchant:
Reeve went to a screening of "Howard's End." Afterward he went up to Merchant and said, "Any role in your next film. Please."

And he was excellent in "Remains of the Day."

RIP Christopher Reeve

It touched me for some reason. It was probably the performance. I may buy it if I get over my inherent cheapness.
