My dog fixed my back!
Last week I blew my back out. Couldn't lay down, couldn't stand upright, sciatica pain shooting down my leg...

Then, early this morning, while hobblig about, my dog was just about to take off to chase the cat, and I instinctively lurched at him to grab him and stop him. I felt a pop in my back. It hurt for a bit and I thought "goddammit, I made it worse!".

I sat down for about an hour. Got up.....

all pain gone. I'm walking upright like nothing was ever wrong. I musta popped the disc back into place!!

I'll be opening up the MonkeyFunk Canine Chiropractic Care Clinic shortly.

7. I worked for a group of chiropractors twenty years ago
One of them went camping and came back with a small scrape on his forehead but reported that his neck hadn't felt so good in quite a while. Different chiropractor friends of his had given him neck adjustments over the years, but his neck had always felt a little "off"...until this happened: There was a natural pool in the mountains and he dove into it. His forehead glanced off a submerged rock, pushing his head back in just the right way to set his neck vertebrae in a better position.

13. Some, yeah. The good chiropractors I've found have been very good
at relieving me of neck and lower back pain. Of course, some seem more attracted to the money-making aspect of it, but that's true with any profession.

8. not in his mind
'fixed' means something else in dog-speak.

Also, I've never been able to lay down. Siriusly, I'm not lie-ing.

Taking attendance, the teacher called a name and another student said.
"She skipped class to lay in the sun."
"Lie" the teacher corrected.
"Okay," the student thought a bit. "She had to visit a sick aunt."
