There are no words to describe how absolutely wonderful this movie is going to be...
On edit:

10. Book 7... the end of an era!
I'm sure future people will read and enjoy the books, but IMHO 9/10 of the fun is in the wait... looking over every single detail, speculating... it will be nice to have all our questions answered, but the anticipation is fun too.

25. More than two
Frankly, I think it's going to be a bloodbath.

Harry, Ron, Hermione, Ginny, Neville, Luna, Fred & George, Percy, Charlie, Fleur, Bill, Mr and Mrs Weasley, Lupin, Tonks, Mad Eye, Hagrid, Professor McGonagall, Snape...

And that's just the first row of potential victims from the (supposed) good side.

I'm betting five or more of the people mentioned above will die. Plus Voldemort, Wormtail, Draco, Bellatrix, Grayback, Narcissa, and Lucius. Then there are all the other Death Eaters, the Dursleys, and sundry folk such as Shacklebolt, Mrs Figg, Fudge, all the other teachers, the elves, the centaurs, Grawp, Madame Maxime, Viktor Krum, Cho, the Creevey brothers, Dean, Seamus, the Patil twins, Lavender Brown, Aberforth...

It's a huge cast.

14. To be brutally honest...
I've probably read well over 500 novels in my life, and I never...ever hated any of the characters, be it villians, or the hero....until I read the Order of the Phoenix...If I could've jumped into those pages, I would have throttled Umbridge...Rowling did a good job writing her part....

Makes the whole thing much less annoying. Myself? I've fallen in love with the people who play the Weasleys and I love to see them in anything. Also, I like the cinematography and effects. But no biggie. As long as you don't mind that the rest of us love them both!

I'm one of those strict fan types that wants everything perfect and can never be satisfied without an 8 hour long movie that includes every detail.

32. I agree, but this one looks awesome.
I was very disappointed in Goblet of Fire. I mildly liked Azkaban (too short and disjointed, but otherwise good). The first two movies were junk.

However, this is the book that I suspect they'll get right. The trailer is very, very good. Unlike the other movies, I look forward to the movie with every new trailer that comes out.

35. I waited until they were available on dvd
and fastforwarded certain scenes. That way my daughter could watch the movies her classmates were watching yet didn't see the more intense things.

She's almost seven and thinks Lupin's transformation in three is now cool but the climax of Goblet is still a bit too much for her-she cries, even though she's never watched it, because she knows there's a death.

42. So many of her classmates
see movies that I think are a bit inappropriate. I feel bad for her since she doesn't see the same things so I preview and decide what bits she will watch.

We did the same thing w/ Pirates of the Carribean I and II. I'll listen to the opening weekend reviews-she wants to go to the theater to see it. If it's not horrible on the frights I might take her. But if they say there's even one moment of jumpiness then she's not going.

And Harry-not until dvd release. Umbridge scared the shit out of me in the books. Brought back bad memories of corporal punishment in school.

34. All I can say is...
it damned well better be better than the last movie.. I've always been the guy who jumps on people who complain about movies not followiing the books they're based on, (in fact, I ranted against those people with my wife on the way to see "Goblet"... ) but holy shit, that was an abberation.

39. It was really fast paced, and I followed it.
It was one of those movies that in order for it to not suck, it had to keep moving. It did leave out a lot, but I liked it. I always look at the books and the movies separately. The movie is always it's own little thing for me. I've loved all the movies. I found the fourth visually stunning, and cinematographically (I think I just made up a new word), it was superior. Except the new one is going to blow the entire franchise out of the water.

43. Here's my take on it..
As a movie it was aweome.. good pacing, good cinematography, good performances etc.. but the things newell left out or flat out got wrong we're just too much for me.. a lot of them are kind of important to the plots of the rest of the books/movies.. so, on one hand, I loved it, but on the other...
:wtf:
