5. My dogs USED to eat the cat poop.
Edited on Wed Apr-25-07 07:08 PM by Wcross
I found these litter boxes at PetSmart that prevents the dog from getting at the poop. They are "Clevercat" boxes.

Or, order online.

or just squat over the hole like Malaysian public toilet?

15. They go inside and poop.
They did it on their first attempt and had no trouble at all with it.

7. I was worried about the litter/digestive tract issue.
It can't be good for a dog to have kitty litter in their system. One of my dogs really seemed to have trouble pooping when he had access to the litter box.

8. eh
I don't think it's too dangerous. It's pretty inert.

Dogs are pretty good at eating/passig all sorts of junk. Ever had a dog eat your tooth-floss?

11. Not tooth floss, but my 24" long hair
A dingleberry with a strong, long stem is a great annoyance to a dog.

12. I also found it disturbing when they left a half finished snack....
I have six dogs and they have the run of the house. When you find a half finished snack in your bed it is time to change!

Solved the problem.

14. My husband tells our dog that she's having canned cat for dinner
when I add a spoonful of cat food (from a can with a cat face on the label) to her kibble.
