*computer question* how easy would it be to post my profile
Edited on Tue Apr-24-07 09:06 PM by Southpawkicker
onto someone else's computer screen

in a way that it was part of their wallpaper and it wouldn't ever go away and they had to look at it over and over and over
until it drove them to destroy their computer? :silly:

would it be hard to do?

(weakly done copycat)

4. Yes there is
and cyber stalking is also illegal

hmmm, I don't know how they did what they did. You might pose that question in the computer forum.

I'd almost be worried that they had physical access to your computer, but it could be that they sent some kind of virus that made their display show up on your wallpaper

that's weird wh

I think it's cause for concern and start with the computer forum. You might even call the police and ask them if they have a computer crime unit. I'm sure it is small potatoes for them, but identity theft is not and if they were able to access your computer remotely there might be spyware logging keystrokes which might give them passwords etc.

Do you have good anti spyware software?

5. Uh yeah cyber stalking is very real.
There's software out there that'll record every keystroke of someone's computer and a lot more. Emails, chats too.

8. what did this person do at your old job?
Edited on Tue Apr-24-07 11:05 PM by bushwentawol
they could've installed keylogging software on the computer you used there. Chats and emails can be captured too, depending on the software used.

11. there are ways to do that without touching your computer
i know they can send things through email attachments. could be a very legitimate looking thing you open and voila', it automatically installs in your system and are very hard to detect. god it does sound like some kind of stalking.
