22nd traffic slowed after car strikes, kills man boarding bus

A motorist drove between a bus and a bus stop - without hitting either -
but hit and killed a man as he was boarding the Sun Tran bus today at
Country Club Road and 22nd Street.

The westbound car then hit a house on East 22nd Street, said Sgt. Mark Robinson,
a Tucson police spokesman. No one was home and the car did not penetrate
the house's wall, Robinson said.

Detectives are looking at the possibility the driver had a medical condition
that contributed to the crash, Robinson said.

He said the man boarding the bus was pronounced dead on arrival at a hospital.

defensive driving... but you can't take that too far or you'd have HUGH bumpers and a brazillion airbags, I'm series Ptah.
