Fifth extremely happy day in a row. A new record. Good Morning DU :)
It's supposed to reach 77 degrees today and I'm going to start cleaning up the garden. Later on I'll be packing linens and kitchen gadgets for the STBE to take to HIS OWN HOUSE. All that must now happen is I win Megabucks & I'll be perfectly satisfied. HOpe you had a great weekend. :hi:

Usually. I don't know Don Dixon - I'll look him up! Hi, taterguy :D

12. If you've seen the movie Heathers you've heard Dixon
He's the guy that performs the song "Teenage Suicide: Don't Do it." He's also written a ton of catchy soulful tunes and done a bunch of production work for bands like REM and the Smithereens.

9. I'm one of those people who also likes Mondays.
The kids leave and I am left to do whatever I want/need. I just got a call... a house showing on Wednesday. Yay! Sorta. I'm happy that you're happy, too. It's such a great feeling!

7. I have a math test in a few hours..
Good times. And I need bus money to get to school. Time to start looking for change in the couch. I wish we had a ATM machine by my house.

10. Good luck on that test. I know you've been studying for it,
or at least you claimed to have studied. :P I've been rifling through pockets looking for dollar bills, myself. Found two bucks under the couch & wish I could send it your way.

11. The shitty part is I have money, it is just that it is in the bank.
I can ride my bike if I have to.. It just takes an hour to there from here. I'm glad the ex-so is getting out.. That must feel good.

37. D.C. We hit the 80's today.
You have to understand that anything above 60 makes me scurry for shade or A/C. I have almost no tolerance to heat and would not even think of walking more than two blocks in 80 degrees. The amount of money I spend on taxicabs and delivery food in the summer around here is staggering. Still, as long as you're doing better I'll sweat it out. Pun not entirely intended, but not entirely unavoidable either. :)

35. Ya know, it wasn't too bad
We stopped into our favorite little gas station to turn in our Powerball/Hot Lotto tickets that we purchase each week to see if we won at least enough to keep buying tickets (we beleive that as long as we break even we're not losing any money). Well, $104.00 later we decided we can keep buying tickets for a-whole-nother year!!! :bounce: Can't beleive I'm saying this but HAPPY MONDAY!!!! :P

$104? You have inspired me to check the tickets I have from Saturday's lotto. Normally I hang onto them for a few days to enjoy imagining what I'd do if I won. Reality check! Can I have some of your luck? :bounce:
