10. I'd have good credit, maybe a hundred thousand in savings (not that much in debt, anyway)

and I'd have probably been happier for most of my 30s.

On the other hand, when it's good -- when it's right -- it's the very best....so we live in hope.

35. What do you mean?
If you mean without relationships/romance, then probably the same place I am now. If you mean without the love of others, then dead, because I wouldn't have had a family to take care of me. If you mean without my own feelings of love, then again, the same place I am now, but without plans for the future.

37. Seeing's how love has been a non-existant commodity
Edited on Sat Apr-21-07 11:09 PM by bushwentawol
in my life until recently I don't know where I'd be. Having lived in a world that for so long that felt like a perpetual shade of gray I married for reasons other than love, more of a fear of being alone. So truly I've been without love. If I'd have had self-love all these years who knows where I'd be right now?

45. I would have likely died many years ago, 20 or so to be exact.
I'd have died of a car wreck, an overdose, alcohol poisoning, being shot, beat up, hell who knows... Any of a number of things that tend to happen to people who are drunk and stoned out of their fucking minds on a daily basis and are out of control and can't stop.

The love of others who loved me until I could begin to love myself has proven itself to be a lifesaver over, and over, and over again.

People who love me, they are my higher power. If there is a universal goodness or gawdess or whatever, they use people to do their job. So I thank all who have loved me, and continue to love me today.

I am learning to love myself more and more, but it is a slow and arduous process that is a one step forward and two steps back kind of process.

Incapable in the human spirit. Not the sexual expression - which seems more a waste of time than a desire these days.
