My 5 year old grandson has declared his intention to run.

He made his announcement in a Hyannis restaurant Saturday evening.
Mommy and daddy and Jack spent the week end on the cape for a little R&R.

A grandparent-age couple at the next table struck up a conversation.
"You sound like a very smart young man. I bet you might be governor of Massachusetts some day."

"No, I'm gonna be the president. I'm gonna kick Bush's butt and quit sending our soldiers over there to get killed."

And you thought they don't listen to what we're talking about.

We haven't had the heart to tell him about the age restriction yet.
