BREAKING-white mob chasing black men through Boston area streets

(API-Boston) In a city beset by a history of racial tensions another dark day has dawned.

Large groups of mostly white people are reportedly chasing a small group of black men in the Boston area. Others appear to have come out to “help” in anyway they can setting up tables to give out water and actually offering encouragement, “Oh yeah we try to do what we can … so we can make it a little bit easier on them”, said Terry Markle of Hopkinton.

Local police were even involved blocking off traffic and routing the chase. “Well you know these guys they done a lot to get ready for this so you know we do what we can. Let me tell you got to really want it on a day like today” said Police officer Andy Petraic with a wry smile.

Making the events of this day all the more remarkable was the horrendous weather that has been lambasting the Eastern Seaboard since Saturday. Torrential rains and flooding were widely reported in the area. No official announcement as to the weather’s effect on this massive uprising has yet been issued. It is common in some European types to lash out at “strangers” for odd occurrences in the weather or drastic change in environment, this region saw an instance of this in the fall of 1986 turning on one of their own.

“They are fast those guys but if you ask me if they can get to the big Citgo sign near Fenway.” Officer Petraic paused, “I think they’ll make it” referring to the chase group, one presumes.

Man that is fast.

I ran a 10K a few years ago-straight out and back. I saw all these flashing lights about 1/4 of my way into the race "Man a car wreck would really screw things up" I thought to myself...then I saw the 4 Kenyans and the Polish guy SPRINTING the other direction-the lights were the police escort of the lead pack.

FYI- the world record in the 10K (on a track) is equivalent to running a football field in 13 seconds INCLUDING ONE END ZONE and then running 100 of them in a row at that pace. The world record for ONE 100 meter race is 9.## something.
