4. My first few weeks with a trainer were like that...
but once I started doing yoga, it helped take a lot of pain away.

Stretching, both before and after the workout, and lots of water and rest (possibly a Motrin if it's bothersome) helps tremendously.

:D

10. I am right there with you!!
Today was day 22 for me. I've worked out 20 of those and I feel GREAT! I have, however, GAINED weight, much to my despair. BUT... I've traded ass/arm/thigh/belly fat for muscle! It's a mental challenge EVERY day, even more than the physical challenge. But, as I said in another thread, the "pain" is far better than the pain of being unhappy and more importantly, unhealthy! Good luck!!!

11. Don't focus on the pounds; focus on how you LOOK. Muscle is heavier than fat.

13. muscle is heavier than fat so working out could cause weight gain
focus on the lost inches.

You know that statement is going to be quoted and re-posted. Some people are going to have a party with that quote. x(

17. some people just hold me in very high esteem. anything i post is worth remembering
and reproducing.

for instance, if i ate something 6 months ago, and even i forgot about it, some people will remember.

because i am memorable that way.

18. just curious..
is the trainer one who works for the gym or is it one you hired yourself? also did he/she talk about diet as well?

not that my opinion means much, but from the current pix of you i have seen here, you are not in need of any kind of weight loss.
