I left my Visa card in the ATM and drove off without it

I was flipping at the store when I suddenly remembered where I left it. I went back to the bank and of course the card was not there in the slot. I went into the bank preparing to report it lost/stolen and the looked on the computer and the ATM captured it!! I can pick it up on Monday after 1:00 PM. What a fucking relief!

1. Your lucky. The ATM's at my bank automatically destroy captured cards.

At least it keeps them from being stolen; but I had to wait over a week for my new one to arrive in the mail.

3. yep.. that's a safety feature built into the machines

If you don't get the card after so much time it'll suck it back in.

Scary though - I had that happen to me when there was a power outage half way through the transaction. :crazy:

I was using a coin sorting machine at the grocery and the power went out in the middle of counting.
