Sick puppy (literally).
Casey has had a bad case of the trots since she got spayed on Monday, and the attendant gassiness as well. How is it that such a pretty little puppy can be such a stinker?

Ah, but what the hell, the medicine the vet gave me for her has made her droopy, and since it's Friday, that means it's Bad Shoulder Day for me, so we've been dozing on the couch on and off since about noon.

And that's not a bad way to spend a day, is it?

1. Boiled rice might help. And dozing on the couch sounds
great -- although by now, we pretty much need two couches. :)

2. Yeah, she's on the rice & chicken diet for a few days. Hey, you should have gotten a Beagle;
they never get so big as to require a couch of their own.

3. Beano or Gas-X
Might make life more bareable until she is feeling better.

6. Well, I did get some medicine from the vet, and it seems to be working. I may be able to
close the windows tonight, even.

7. Poor Casey. At least she has a warm shoulder to lean on.
Works well for you too, I realize.
