3. They have the honor of being the loudest show I've ever seen...

I saw them back on their Green Mind tour, and it was by far the loudest show I've ever been at. The stage was set up as literally a wall of amps about 8 ft high all the way across, broken in the middle just enough to see the drummer back there behind all of the amps. They played as the power trio, and all came out wearing industrial headphone style ear protection, and just blew the shit out of the room. I'm not quite sure what the hell they were trying to accomplish, because you could hardly make out a tune through the volume, and I literally thought that I might end up with some sort of organ damage. My heart felt like it was skipping beats, I became slightly short of breath, and I honestly thought I could have lost bowel control at any moment. Very odd and disturbing sensation.

Somehow I remember it as being a great show, though. :shrug: Have fun!

We missed Interpol (tickets sold out), so as soon as they went on sale for Dinosaur Jr I was all up on that. I'm pretty stoked.
