1. Is that the one where they go back to the 1920s in New York? That was a good one.

5. I'll say the one where Spock has a reunion with his father and mother.
Just because no one else has mentioned that one.

Who knew that Spock's mother was the same one as in "Father Knows Best"? :-)

6. Let That Be Your Last Battlefield
This allegory on late 60's racial tensions ends bleakly - a cautionary tale which hasn't lost its impact.

Kirk, Spock, McCoy, Scott and Chekov are "sentenced" by the Melkotians to relive October 26, 1881 in Tombstone Ariz. and fight the Earp brothers and Doc Holiday as the Clantons and the McLaurys at OK Corral

11. My absolute favorite TOS episode
is Amok Time....Spock goes into heat and must.get.laid.NOW.

Trouble is his chosen wife, T'Pring, prefers another Vulcan, Ston. This means Spock must fight for his beloved who gets to select the adversary. She chooses Kirk. Deep in the Pon Far Spock battles Kirk to what appears the bitter end. Thankfully McCoy, using the extreme Vulcan heat as an excuse, gives Kirk an injection of a drug. It is this drug which causes Kirk to appear dead. Spock, thinking he has killed Kirk, tells Ston he can have T'Pring and tells T'Pring that sometimes having is not as good as wanting.

Since Kirk is supposedly dead, Spock is now in command. He instructs McCoy to prepare a security detail to arrest him and he returns to the Enterprise where upon seeing a living Kirk there is a spontaneous outburst of emotion by Spock.

A fine episode indeed.
