Spooky Imus story from years ago

back when he was still on the old WNBC, he said, "I just got back from the ickiest city in the United States, New Orleans."

Pretty tame stuff for him, but still... :grr:

Later that week, I saw on my local (Chicago, at the time) news that WNBC had gone off the air -- a stunning turn of events for one of the flagship stations in all of radio! Of course, as we know, Imus slithered on to the new WFAN, but still, the station over which he said that was gone by the end of the week.

Kind of makes you wonder if voodoo queen Marie Laveau might have taken offense at Imus' recent gaffe from beyond the grave... :scared:
