I'm having a lovely vacation. Is it spring where you live yet?

1. Nope. It was colder on Easter than it was on..
Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's. There are no 70 degree days or anything in the 10 day.

2. Hi Critters,
Yep, it's Spring in SoCal, alright.

But it's extremely dry so we are lacking our green hills and
multitudes of spring flowers.
;(.

But the sun has been coming out now and the temps are back
in the 70's.

:hi:

3. NO! Dammit. no spring for at least a week! This after one tantalizing..
...81 degree day at the very end of March that made us think that Winter was vanquished.
....rain, snow for the next six days.....we won't see 60 in that time...

after that, we'll probably go straight to tornado season....

5. What spring?
Expecting 8-10 inches where I live. Daffodils are sagging, grass we planted has probably frozen and I'm getting really sick of shoveling show and putting on winter clothes. Still, I love a big spring snowfall - except for the bad things that happen to people in flood plains when it all runs off at once. We could have 40 mph wind gusts. Better get the candles out.

7. Welcome to DU!
We have the blooming on trees starting, but they must be freezing. A little budding actually started in that mild early to mid January!

It snowed 1 to 3 inches Saturday afternoon in East Texas.
Melted the next day.

The temp never got below freezing.

12. dead...
It was spring for about 2 weeks. We had beautiful bright yellow forsythias and gorgeous pears and other blooming trees.

Then the snow and freezing temperatures killed everything that was blooming...new leaves included...the forsythias, the Bradford pears...and more. The daffodils were done blooming.

The farmers lost their apples. It's really an awful "spring."

The blooming trees and shrubs look dead now.

14. This just sucks.
It's snowing like crazy here in lovely north east Illinois. My tulips were just about recovered from all the frost and ready to open and now we are going to get 6" of snow today. Where the hell is spring? This better not be one of these years when I have to go straight from heat to air conditioning. borlis kid 1 DUer SteveNashisGod13 has a baseball game tomorrow! Yea right!
