Saw Dean at a local fundraiser last night
We're only a town of 5,000 here in midcoast Maine, so we were thrilled to have him come. About 100 people there, each of whom had to contribute a minimum of $150 to attend. Because of the minimum contribution, it was mostly an older, richer crowd, with even a few wheelchairs and walkers, but by no means was it a sedate crowd. When Dean started speaking, you've never seen so many gray-haired folks hooting and clapping and cheering. Dean was electric -- much more impressive in person than he is on TV. (And, if I may say so, a much more attractive man.) I brought hubby and 20-year-old son. Hubby hasn't been all that enthusiastic about Dean, but after that speech, he walked out saying, "Okay. He's my man."

2. That is just terrific!!!!!
I'm glad the seniors got to participate. I bet they haven't felt this energized about a candidate since JFK..... Dean is so personable. I have been to several Dean gatherings and have always felt I was in the right place. I am highly motivated. I believe in this man. We need this man......Our country needs to recover......

Dean wants the job....others appear to want the position. There is definately a difference. The next President will cetrainly have many, many fences to mend and a country to unite.
