I'm not an avowed atheist, but I'm truly a strong agnostic. But grief and trouble are coming to the Venation home, and my old "oh, God, be with us" is kicking in.

I keep thinking of a psalm that I posted the other day - which another DUer posted for me in the same thread - "I will lift mine eyes unto the hills, whence cometh my strength."

I don't think prayer can heal or keep illness and hurt and evil away, but I think (even with my agnosticism) that prayer or something like it can be comforting and bring strength and peace.

I have intuitive thoughts like that too. And all I can do is cry and fight it whenever those thoughts come. Somethings I don't have control over and I just have to be strong and postive on the inside. :hug:
