Do any of you have Satellite Broadband Internet Service?

I am trying to decide if I should bundle DirecTV with high speed internet or stay with ground-based cable and internet.

The former is cheaper and the latter is much more expensive.

Any feedback would be incredibly appreciated!

If you have access to cable broadband DO NOT get satellite internet. I have Wildblue Satellite internet only because I can't get DSL or cable. It is not true broadband. Latency is horrible and bandwidth is limited due to a "fair access policy". My understanding is that Hughes Net, the one offered through DirecTV, is just as bad or worse. Satellite internet is really just for those of us who live in areas where we have no other options. It is better than dialup, but not NEAR as good as DSL or cable. Do some serious research before making your decision. One really good place to get some information is www.dslreports.com forums.
