Not a joke: A jaw with huge fangs in can of tuna. Pics!
I found this on another forum. What kind of creature did this poor guy find in his can of tuna?

1. I saw this on yet a different forum
and WOW it's nasty.

But, it was a can of fish. Just not the good parts I guess.

3. Shit.
That's just about the grossest thing I can imagine. I think I'd rather find a human thumb than an unidentified jawbone +teeth. Ugh.

4. That thing looks like it could do some damage!
You know, with the oceans yielding less fish, we could be in for a serious realignment in what we consider to be tasty fish dinners.

34. That pet food thing was something, wasn't it?
BatBoy and I went to this new independent pet food store that just opened up in our neighborhood and completely switched our pets' diets. It's actually kind of amazing, feeding our dog a grain-free food has improved his allergies and given him way more energy than he's had in years. I feel horrible that we didn't do this earlier. :-(

37. That's great!
What're you feeding him now?

My guy still gets his quality kibble and occasional eggs, turkey, yams, rice, etc. He's doing great.

The cats get Iams dry - they love it. I've tried giving them a "higher quality" food, and they won't eat it.

38. No more Iams for us!
We had cans of food from that Kansas City factory. They were from the batch just before the tainted one. They're all on the Wellness brand dry food (senior mix for the pup) and the cats get the Wellness wet food in various flavors. So far, chicken & herring is their favorite!

Funny thing is, the new food isn't significantly more expensive. And the quick results the food change caused in Barrabas would be worth paying twice what we were paying.

26. The Socketed teeth are a dead giveaway...
My only problem is HOW THE HELL DID THIS HAPPEN? It was a juvenile, but what species? I can't really tell, looks like just the upper jaw is all that is left, couldn't have been more older than perhaps a few days old when caught. Most Crocs are fresh water species, swamps, lakes, and rivers, only the Saltwater Croc could theoretically get caught in a tuna net. Of course this is assuming that the can is a can of TUNA, it could be a can of croc meat, some species, like the American Alligator, are allowed to be "harvested" for meat.

All I know is that it's no snake, the teeth are way too thick, and not numerous enough, and are mostly swept "backwards" to increase grip on animals.

40. I hope they wouldn't put that part of the croc in the can
Your more prudent fish packer tends to leave out the dangerous parts.

The can has English writing on it too, and there the ingredients start with "fish."

Maybe it's one of those weird-ass species they keep pulling up from three thousand feet down?

I haven't bought a can or knowingly eaten a bite of it since the '70s.
But a cool promo like this might bring me back in.
I'm not an expert, but that dentition cries out "serpent" to me.
