24. I have a thing for '50's and early '60's teen exploitation...
movies. Especially, the juvenile delinquent exposes.

My latest find is "The Violent Years" which was written by Ed Wood, Jr.

"In this chilling tale of girls gone bad, Jean Moorehead stars as the leader of a ruthless gang of high school girls bent on robbery and self-destruction. When robbery isn't enough to quench their thirst for crime, the girls turn to more devious pursuits-including a vicious assault on an innocent man who finds out that lover's lane isn't so loving...."

Check it out! :hi:

We went through an Arch Hall Jr. phase--it wasn't pretty. :D There's one where Arch is part of some kind of car parts stealing gang that's pretty good, but I forget the name of it.

Another guy, (director) that we were all about, and excuse me if I get the name wrong, was Herschel Gordon Lewis. Blood Freak was particularly awesome--a guy becomes a half man/half chicken vampire who can only live on the blood of pot heads.

Thanks for the tip--I'll see if I can find that one.

This one has something for everyone.
Action semi star John Ratzenberger makes an appearance, as does Monique St. Pierre, Playmate of the year.

26. Another really bad (but fun to watch for that reason) one is:
"Cycle Vixens" a.k.a. "Young Cycle Girls" from 1978. An attempt at being a kind of "Easy Rider" with 3 teenage girls as the protagonists.
Terrible script, even more terrible acting, terrible editing, just terrible everything. But that makes it so laughable that it's fun to watch.

It has everything! A talking brown gorilla named Amy. Murderous gray gorillas. A crew of African porters singing "California Dreaming." Joe Don Baker as an evil tycoon. Tim Curry as "Herkermer Homolka," formerly of Romania. Erupting volcanos. Huge diamonds. Lost cities. Missiles shooting down airplanes. Not even the luminous Laura Linney can save this movie!

Lea Thompson was attractive, and she worked well in the role.
But I got the impression of a little more voluptuous girl from the comic.
No matter, in spite of the obstacles overcome to make it, it's a worhty comic book adaptation, better than many.

53. The All Time Winner: REEFER MADNESS!

Reefer Madness is a 1936 drama film revolving around the tragic events that follow when high school students are lured by pushers to try "marihuana": a hit and run accident, manslaughter, suicide, rape, and descent into madness all ensue. The film was directed by Louis Gasnier and starred a cast composed of mostly unknown bit actors. It was financed by a church group and made under the title Tell Your Children.

The film was intended to be shown to parents as a morality tale attempting to teach them about the dangers of cannabis use.<1> However, soon after the film was shot, it was purchased by producer Dwain Esper, who recut the film for distribution on the exploitation circuit.<1> The film never gained an audience until it was rediscovered in the 1970s and gained new life as a piece of unintentional comedy among cannabis smokers.<1><2> Today, it is considered a cult film.

Oft times when I smoke pot, I turn into a homicidal maniac. I've been known to kill a dozen or so chipsahoys at a single sitting.

Old highschool tradition, smoke up and watch this then Ferris Bueller's Day Off. If the creator had only known how many people would watch this movie while high, he would have shat himself.

74. I wouldn't call Battle Royale a bad movie
For it's genre, it's actually quite good. Decent script that deals with a huge issue in Japan, the direction is close to brilliant (but then I'm a big fan of Kinji Fukasaku's films) and it has Beat Takashi & Chiaki Kuriyama in it. What's bad about that? :D

However, I'll bet the Americanized version planned for 2008 will suck and horribly.

83. It's incredibly cheesy though. A big enzymatic pile of formagge frottage.

75. Cannibal Women in the Avocado Jungle of Death
Shannon Tweed, Bill Maher, Adrienne Barbeau

The government hires a feminist at the local university to track down the Piranha Women living in the uncharted Avocado Jungle (westernmost outpost is San Bernardino) to convince them to move to a reservation condo in Malibu. She hires a guide at the edge of the jungle, a male chauvinist pig, and they have many arguments about men and women as they work their way in, and eventually confront the Piranha Women.

:D

76. Battlefield Baseball
It's got zombies, musical interludes, a hot leading man, and buckets & buckets of blood! :thumbsup"

From Midnight Eye http://www.midnighteye.com/reviews/battbase.shtml :

For certain, Battlefield Baseball is like none of these films. Instead, director Yudai Yamaguchi, in his debut film, gives us a world first - a baseball zombie horror comedy, complete with chainsaws, corpses sailing through the air and high-kicking kung-fu antics. Based on a popular manga story by Gataro Man that ran in the top-selling Monthly Shonen Jump magazine, Battlefield Baseball almost dispenses with the bat and ball altogether, and instead deals up a whole lot more fun in its place, mocking the clichés of the genre in a manner as spirited as it is funny.
