Seems our president of vice came out of hiding on Sunday long enough to announce that he would support a constitutional amendment outlawing same-sex marriages. Cheney refused to comment on the fact that his daughter is an outspoken voice in Colorado's gay and lesbian community.

The vice-president then slithered back under his rock until the next opportunity to display his bigotry to the world.

I thought it said he would support an ammendment for gay marriage. I even re-read it because I was surprised. My brain is fried tonight (and my only chemical right now is sugar free chocolate). I should just go to sleep. Geesh! :crazy:

4. I love how the republicans want amendments AGAINST things
NO flag burning
NO same sex marriage

Amendments are supposed to be about rights that the state CAN'T interfere with.

Amendments are NOT for making stuff illegal.

I hate these people. Or, at least, strongly disapprove of them.
