OH MY GOODNESS DAVID AKERS IS A KICKING GOD
I couldn't even watch this game because Packers were ahead AND listening to the Fox Broadcast worship at the freaking altar of St. Farve was making me puke (Hey, Farve is a good QB and lost his dad - doesn't mean we're giving Green Bay a free pass the the Super Bowl).

I had to turn off the TV, but I checked Yahoo and saw the score was tied. I turned on the TV at the exact moment that David Akers put it through the Posts.

OH MY GOODNESS AM I STUNNED OR WHAT!!!!

1. LOL!
"altar of St. Farve" - good one.

Actually tho, it was a great game and congrats to Philly.

I'm sure that Bret and the Packers will be back.

2. What the hell.............
was Favre thinking when he threw that ball up? That was the most boneheaded move I've ever seen. He's a great QB and all, but that was inexcusable.

4. Crap. Crap. Crap. Crap.
Well, one bright spot, the quarterback Rush the doper was slamming sure is proving Rush to be dead wrong.

Did you hear that crowd when they picked off Favre's pass?

6. Favre threw a post, Walker ran an in.
I don't know who ran the wrong play, either Favre threw the game away, or Walker ran the wrong play.

No matter, the Packers' defense was the real reason we lost this game.

As far as I see it, two players had good games: Donovan McNabb and Ahman Green. Otherwise, BOTH teams played like crap. As a Packers fan, I just wish there were some way for both teams to lose, because they both deserved to lose.

It was a pretty shitty game, considering the St. Louis/Carolina game, in which both teams really deserved to win.

Oh well, "there's always next year," or some crap like that.

Congratulation to McNabb, he's earned it. For LynneSin and other Eagles fans -- I hope for your sake the rest of the team plays better next week. Otherwise, the Panthers are gonna kick your asses.

7. What a great freakin' weekend of football.
All of you football dissers don't know what you're missing. Congrats, Lynne. I hope you'll make me an honorary Eagles fan for the rest of the season.

8. WTF??
was Bret thinking? It's OK to be beaten by a better team,( which actually, was'nt the case tonight) but to throw it away like he did, was so sad. Well, he got the Pack this far on a few miracle throws, so I guess he can be excused for this "boner". Maybe next year?????????

10. And where was the defense
On that late-4th quarter 3rd and 26 pass that McNabb threw straight down the middle? Good grief!!!

My beloved Pack once again snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.

Sigh.
