I started getting hooked on these a couple months ago. Which show is your favorite? Favorite episode?

I like Houston the best, since they seem to work with a wider variety of animals (like livestock, horses, etc) than just house pets. I do, however, like the NY behavioral expert (Victoria Wells, I believe), because she is much more driven to have a dog succeed rather than writing it off after one failed aggression test. I think of one dog in particular name Obie, who I was sure would be put to sleep because he was completely dominant and aggressive.

1. I always liked the ASPCA/NY show (Animal Precinct, I think)

It seems that every time I watched the Miami one, lots of animals wound up dead. I get enough of that in real life. I gotta have the small victories.

Besides, that Annemarie Lucas is a looker.

4. I feel that way about the Detroit show.

2. I don't have cable but YES! I love those shows!

Whenever I do have access to cable, that's what I always try to watch. Even though I cry. Every.Single.Time.

3. The failed behavior tests always get me.

when you start hearing that ominous synth music in the background, you know the poor thing is doomed.

5. Oh I know. It's so heartbreaking.

I'm still haunted by one adorable half-grown puppy with food aggression. He was so sweet, but with the food bowl he signed his own death warrant.
