Whoo Hoo! Theismann gets the boot from Monday Night Football!!
There will be a quarterback change in the Monday Night Football broadcast booth for the 2007 season.

Ron Jaworski will join Mike Tirico and Tony Kornheiser on the ESPN telecast. Jaworski replaces Joe Theismann, who has been offered a prominent football analyst job with the network.

"This new lineup will enhance our presentation of Monday Night Football, our most important property," Norby Williamson, executive vice president, studio and remote production, said in a statement. "Ron has covered the NFL from many different perspectives, and he is totally tied into the issues and trends from around the league.

"We appreciate the work Joe has done for 19 years and continue to talk with him about another high-profile football role with ESPN."

Theismann has to be the most annoying person in sports. Good riddance!

2. I think Jaws will be a great addition.
Theismann spent the whole season making Kornheiser look like an idiot and being real arrogant about it. Good riddance. I don't know why he got like that. He wasn't always that way.

3. Jaws Is The Best. He's An Analyst For People Who Love Football
No one breaks down film and plays like he does. In the Rams/Pats Superbowl, he clearly showed how the Pats won. Basically, the Pats rushed two guys, and dropped 9 into coverage, and yet, they still got pressure on the QB.

None of the SB analysts during the game pointed that out.

4. God, he's SO fucking STUPID!! He makes Terry Bradshaw sound like a PhD. I don't watch
much television, but Mrs R likes football, and I watch that with her.

It'll be damn good to be shut of that moron.
