Why I canceled my Myspace:

I did not delete any of you as a friend...from myspace...individually.

I deleted my whole f'ing myspace...

yep...169 friends *poof*...just like that.

Please don't take it personally....

I just couldn't handle my two worlds colliding...and the number of messages, comments, etc.

It became a monster instead of a haven....not to mention the sheer weirdness of having 50 people view my blog within

the first 2 minutes it was written (no, this is not an exaggeration!)

I'm sorry if I caused any hurt feelings over here at DU....believe me, hurt feelings are everywhere-- my co-workers, my photography friend, etc., etc.

Would i do it again, if I could go back and un-click those three clicks it takes to cancel it? Yes, I would. I am

not emotionally equipped for all that came with it. I am too much of a loner...and it really felt like it was

collapsing in on me...

okay, that was TMI. I really just wanted to give an explanation here.

I don't think people are or should be that upset that you decided to cancel your account. I think it is very selfish of them to be like that instead of trying to understand where you are coming from.
