Currently, many, many things in my life are up in the air right now. Most of them are positive things, thank God--but then again, none of them have happened yet. Thought I'd list 'em out here, and you DU'ers can add your own lists.
1. Waiting for my drug test to come back from the lab. Once it does, I'll be officially hired for the coolest summer job ever, which leads us to..
2. Waiting to find out what boat Carnival Cruise is going to put me on. I've been hired to play Sax in their band over the summer, but I won't find out which ship is available until all the paperwork is in. It could range from crappy (Alaska) to awesome (the Mediterannean), depending on what slots are available.
3. Waiting to find out if my songs have been chosen for the annual "First Stages" concert at my school. I'm also a budding composer/lyricist, and if one or both are accepted, they will be sung by vocal performance majors here in front of a paying audience, which will be majorly cool.
4. Waiting for the girl I like from afar to respond to my advances. After bumping into her again two days ago and having yet another hurried conversation (mainly about music--she's a singer), I decided to contact her via Myspace a few hours ago. No response yet...
5. Waiting for the GTA IV trailer to come out next week. OK, this one isn't so major or personal, but it's the only one on the list I'm 100% sure is going to happen. And it's bound to be a hell of a game!
