Second quarter of the Rams-Panthers game ( a good one won by the Panthers) about 10:30 left on the clock and the ref throws a flag on the Rams for have 12 players in the huddle, which is illegal. He then turns to announce the call and says:

Illegal substitution (points to his left) Los Angeles....uh....St.Louis......

Whoops! The Rams left LA in 1994!

Also at the end of the game Tony Saragusa ( who is hilarious) said something and then apologized for it but I didn't hear what it was that he said. Anyone know?

1. A true D'oh, slap the forehed moment
Hell, I still want to call them the Cardinals. I have also asked my wife who if she wants to watch Letterman or Carson. But, geeez, a true screw up for the offical - he gets paid to track the details, the little things - like what friggin' city the team plays for!

2. You're talking about the Cleveland Rams, right?
Don't mind me, I still pull for the Brooklyn Trolley-Dodgers.
