Poll question: Caught offguard today - a woman said "HELLO GENTLEMEN!" I truly had no idea
Edited on Wed Mar-21-07 08:17 AM by Leopolds Ghost
No idea what to say; I was frankly queasy.

To those unfamiliar with the expression, which is common
in the South and in the Japanese video game Zero Wing,
her words might suggest "All Your Base Are Belong to Us".

but her look implied the obvious, unspoken:

"You have no chance to survive Make your time!"

I am sick of people foisting their alien agenda
on my star system. Especially when they are HOT
ALIEN WOMEN! B-)

Any suggestions for how I should handle this?

1. If You Don't Mind Calling Attention To Yourself
a "good evening, ma'am" should suffice.

3. That was truly disrespectful and a clear sign she was force-feeding you her
agenda like a parent feeds a baby. If this isn't paternalism at its most dangerous than I don't know what is.

Next time call in for backup because clearly this is war.

:)

4. Yes, when people say "Hello Gentlemen" it definitely feels like someone...
...set us up the bomb.

On the other hand, she made me want to take off every "Zig"... sigh...

6. I wouldn't go so far as to say "the bomb" -- more like a main screen turn on.

Too bad she was obviously a CATS worshipper.

I am allergic to CATS. :P

7. What happen?
Whenever someone says "Hello Gentlemen", I reach for my revolver.

Or I will simply say: "What Happen?"
