I think it has something to do with that "Vote For The Worst" website, run by someone named "Dave". That's the site that is encouraging everyone to vote for the worst performer.

21. OK, here's my analysis for the week

It was definitely better than last week, but not as good as the judges would have you believe.

Haley - she picked a fun song where her voice didn't sound as thin. The choice of song led to a decent performance.

Blake - he gave the song a unique and modern vibe. Undersung a bit, but good.

LaKisha - best vocal of the night, even if she could have picked a better song out of all those British invasion songs.

Phil - very forced. Didn't like it at all.

Stephanie - I didn't expect her to be Dusty Springfield, but it was way too off key except for the bridge.

Sanjaya - his performance was a complete insult to the song. The worst tonight.

Jordin - good vocal, but she didn't let go enough to knock it out of the park.

Chris R. - still too nasally for me, but this was the best he can do.

Chris S. - it was ok, but too much style over substance. He gives too many middle of the road performances. He thinks it is cooler than it is.

Gina - I expected her to do well with "Paint It Black," but the vocals didn't match the song. She should have stuck more to the original melody like Vanessa Carlton did. Gina doesn't have to make everything into Evanescence.

Melinda - She has a beautiful voice, but this time, I didn't think she saved the song. It fell flat for me. I'm going to give her a vote, though, along with LaKisha and Blake.
