Home early... what a boring night.
There were hundreds of people which is unusual for the area. I could hardly wait to get home which means I'm coming to my sense. Help!

11. Just checking
Wanted to make sure that you didn't lose any while you were out. :D

Me? I'm just enjoying the quiet. Probably will call it a night here soon.

3. What were you doing this evening?
I stayed close to home myself. Too much drinking going on in St Paul tonight to make me feel safe cruising the streets.

14. Maybe it's our current preferences
Edited on Sun Mar-18-07 12:05 AM by mentalsolstice
We had planned to pub crawl after dinner...but we ended up getting a couple of movies and some wine. There's something about settling into one safe place and getting shitfaced with friends...minus the crowd, parking inconveniences, figuring out who is designated driver, etc.

On edit: It's actually very comforting...

I get the feeling that you are always a "we" while I am not! I'd have been happy to stay at home with the right person... the thing is, I only just realized that tonight. Odd.

24. Not necessarily a "we"
My "we" is asleep, while "I'm" still partying! I'm home, safe, and now "I'm" partying on DU (at least for the next 30 mins. or so, until I just scream ENOUGH).

15. It's Bangor
Even on a party night like St Paddy's, only the kids come out to play. The band was OK, the bars were packed, but the spark was not there. Maybe if I had worn that slinky black cocktail dress with the spaghetti straps you would have gotten into the spirit of the evening.

why would you want to come to your senses when that would mean that you would have to step back from the keyboard and.... I don't actually know what comes next after one steps away from the keyboard, it all seems like it is not real beyond the keyboard...
