Me either! :puke:

I just found this site and thought it was both hilarious and fitting, as Tayto is an Irish co. :D

7. You know those Irish loooooove their taters!
we're a 1/3 Irish and my 13 yr old son likes to say he has three stomachs:

One for "regular food", one for "desserts", and one for "potatoes". Yup, he's a potato fiend.

:D

5. No discernable shellfish taste
It isn't easy to describe (and not a particularly good flavour - it came in when 'prawn cocktails' were fashionable in cheap restaurants). Still better than American chips, though. :D

2. I'd like to point out that American potato chips are crap
and therefore any Irish crisps are almost definitely superior. The only thing dodgy is the 'Wuster' sauce - couldn't they afford to use real Worcester Sauce?

4. Ahem, it's Worcestershire....
:P

Oh, and I agree...When I was in France, I fell in love with their chips... :)

8. French ones are pretty bad too
Seriously, British ones are far superior to both. Irish ones are likely to be the same style as British.

"Worcester sauce" is the generic term; "Worcestershire Sauce" is the one made by Lea and Perrins. See http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/hereford/worcs/4286991.stm and http://www.taquitos.net/snacks.php?snack_code=607
