Well, life sure is a roller-coaster, inn't it?
Yesterday, I found out that I got accepted to one of my very top choices for graduate school. Today, I was notified via e-mail (e-mail :wtf: ) that I was rejected from another of my very top choices. Damn.

Oh well, can't win 'em all.

On edit: CONGRATS. I am so worked up in my sorry self that I forgot to mention that getting in to grad school is a major accomplishment and you have my most sincere congratulations.

5. Sorry to hear that...
How can the buyer cancel without losing their earnest money?

9. Well, since it has been so warm the last couple of days
the snow melted and it turned out the house needs a new roof - no problem I said - it will be done prior to closing. She backed out anyway.

11. Yeah. I have my master's degree.
Unfortunately funding was tight both in my family and in my program so I have joined "the diaspora" of former Ph.D. candidates.

7. I think you should go with the one of your very top choices
that accepted you. I agree with the :wtf: however.

10. Yeah, seriously, e-mail?
Anyway, I'm still pretty excited about the place I was accepted. That was such a high that even the rejection from the other place can't bring me down. The problem is all of these school are hard to get into. That's why I applied to 11 of them :)

12. Congrats on the good news!
I sometimes ask the universe to make things very, very clear to me as far as my decision-making goes and sometimes it complies. :)

Congrats to you. :toast:
