No, I said Toy Yoda....
I don't know if this is true but it is funny, (if you are not the waitress).

1. True story which wound up in her favor.
A legal battle between a waitress, and her former employer has been concluded in her favour. Jodee Berry had been disgruntled when the prize for a beer selling competition was a Yoda doll, rather than the Toyota car she had expected. Gulf Coast Wings Incorporated, the owners of the Panama City Beach Hooters, faced allegations of breach of contract and fraudulent misrepresentation. Now Jodee Berry has been allowed to pick the Toyota model of her choice

3. So they(Hooters Management) really said Toyota
then as a joke presented her with a Toy Yoda? How stupid can they be? That was just a lawsuit waiting to happen.

4. They clearly didn't think a waitress
would be smart or aggressive enough to sue and demand that they keep their promise. I'm glad she fought them and won. It's bad enough when the public underestimates or belittles people who wait on tables, but for an employer to do it too is really outrageous.

2. At least the taxes she'll have to pay are less.
And I don't think you need insurance for one of those in Florida.

5. What did she do with the Yoda?
Is that the one that tells stories, etc? My son's doesn't talk anymore, so I'd like to get him a replacement.

6. She gave it back to the guy who presented it to her.
I heard he had a hard time sitting down for a few weeks afterwards.
