When did you last change your hair style?
I am considering a change - it has been awhile. How often do you change your look?

1. I'm pretty radical. I just changed mine...about 18 years ago.
I'm boring.

Smack dab in the middle of heartbreak.
55 lb's heavier and long hair that went out of style in the 90's
Now I'm a short Hair :)

2 or 3 times a year. Speaking of which...I need a haircut...and new glasses.

4. I stopped cutting my hair about 18 months ago, does that count?
Of course, back then it was pretty short and conservative looking, and now I'm told I look like a damned hippie. :-)

5. Every couple of years
I'm due a change, but it's really short right now, and I dread the growing out process.

8. It's been a very, very long time
I'm thinking around 6 or 7 years. I went through a period in my twenties of dying it every shade of red and purple, and then I had it blonde for a few years, and now I am back to my natural color, which I like, so it's all good.

9. Every few months.
It goes back and forth between two hairstyles because I tend to let it grow too long before I get it cut.

I just got almost all of it cut off this afternoon at lunchtime.

10. Sometime in the fall of '03
I went from being very blonde to being a redhead. Not sorry I did it, just sorry I didn't do it sooner. I get so many compliments on the color and how well it suits me.
I generally wear my hair short (just above shoulder length) but I have lots of texture in it so I can wear it somewhat straight or use my curling iron and add lots of shape to it. Just depends on how much time I want to take with it.

11. 20 -22 yeas ago?
Oh wait I went from usually one ponytail in the back to two, one on each side about 10 to 15 years ago!

Sometimes I get radical and wear it down or in some kind of "bun". Not very often, though.

That's when I got my ass-long hair cut off and adopted the simple short, side part, man-cut.

I started growing a beard only because I damaged my face in an accident and couldn't shave if I wanted to. I'm all better now but I like the look.

14. I hadn't changed it for decades!
But last year, I decided it was time for a softer, more feminine look...

So now I'm growing it out!

I wish my hair grew faster, though......it's like watching paint dry, or grass grow.....

But I'm loving it! And I do expect to leave it this way for a very long time.....if not forever...

:woohoo:

Went from the Homer-Simpson-in-the-70s cut I've had since, well, the 70s, to a John Tester-style flattop.

23. I just hacked off about 8 inches in the bathroom during our last blizzard
After the third time stuck in the freakin' driveway, I had so much pissed off energy I had to do SOMETHING, and I had planned on going to get it cut after work that day anyway, so I chopped it. Love it. It's about chin length, and I have pretty much corkscrew natural curl, so it's no work at all. Wash, finger comb, a (very)little goop, and gone.

It had been halfway down my back, but I got it cut to chin length in the front, with a scoop so that it was shoulder-length in the back.

That's the last goddamned time I try anything radical like that with my hair. :scared:

Luckily, no pics survive from that hideous time.

28. It should have been last Saturday
Even when I bring in a specific pic and then say that I DON'T want the same hairstyle I have currently, they still end up cutting it that way. x(

It doesn't look bad, but :wtf: Are they only teaching one style now at the hair schools?

I still get frequent haircuts to keep the shape, but it's certainly longer than last year, and considerably longer than two years ago.

32. Changed the color a few years back, if that counts.
That is, I let it go back to its natural color because I was tired of coloring it, not because I didn't like the look.

Otherwise it's been pretty much the same for most of my life, just keeps getting longer. It's finally halfway down past my butt, but I'm aiming for mid-thigh length in the future. I guess that's a change. :)

39. I NEED A CHANGE!
I have been through a lot lately and I want a new haircut. A complete change. The last few weeks especially have really aged me. The stress is making me look old, hopefully that will go away when the stress does. I do need a change but I have no idea what to do! I wish I had an idea of what I would look good in because I want a new, fresh me. I want to look like, "you drug me through hell and back but look at me now!"
