My kitty is lying across my left arm, making it hard to type.
Her chin is on my arm and her paws are under it. Which part of her should I cut off?

1. My sympathies for you predicament.
I've got a guy that likes to put his butt on my lap, hang on my mouse arm, and stare at me till I give him attention. Annoying as hell sometimes, but I know I'd miss it if he ever stopped.

I'd hold off on the meat cleaver this time. Try tasering her the next time. :+

3. I've got two Schipperke's on my lap
I am doing the one finger peck. Not easy -- but how do we shoo them away? Mine haven't seen me all day, so they want some of Momma's time.

I am glad to see such positive support for letting cats keep their claws. The last thread of that nature I was involved in wasn't so pleasant.

19. *lol* my Rio does the same thing, only her paws are usually crossed on
top of my wrist, with her chin on her paws. Or else she's just plain trying to lay on the keyboard. Brat.

27. *lol* My cousin's cat sleeps on top of their coffeemaker! It's the oddest
thing ever; it's pretty rectangular and the cat is quite petite, and she just fits, and she must like the warmth or something, but it's really funny to see this beautiful deep-ginger-tiger-stripe kitty curled up on the Brewmaster or whatever the hell it is!

29. I'll have to try to get one. And no, it's pretty small... can't measure more
than about 5" by 8"... Abby is just a little bitty cat! Even though she's fully grown, she's very small. She weighs about 3 pounds.

20. Admit defeat...
your cat owns you! Get used to the fact that she controls you...it's pointless to resist.

Where is your child stationed? I'm in the Air Force and stationed in Mississippi; not many Liberals down here!

26. You're so right!
I'm owned by 6 of them at the moment, with more to come after we move.

My daughter and son-in-law are both in Mountain Home, ID for now. Not many liberals up there, either. She's retraining now and has no idea where she'll be after August.

31. I know some people at Mountain Home AFB
and can help you out. My job is TMO, which is we're the ones who arrange for the moving company to visit your daughter's home to get her stuff packed and shipped to wherever her next assignment is.

If your interested in more detailed information and/or a name then please pm me.

As far as cats are concerned you'll like this story. Many times whatever TV show I was watching finished, and just before I got off the couch the cat jumps onto my chest and goes into hibernation. I didn't want to disturb her sleep...the remote was out of reach...so I sat there for a long time watching something I hated just to satisfy her. She taught ME who's the boss!

33. That's great!
Now if we only knew where she was going! I'll PM you for more info. Thanks.

And you think you're different from the rest of us cat lovers? One of mine sleeps between my legs and I scooch myself out of bed if I have to get up and then I carefully scooch myself back in so I don't disturb him.

32. I envy you
Lucy absolutely will not sit on my lap, either at the computer or anywhere else. :(

When I'm asleep or laying in bed, though, she jumps up and sits on my shoulder or legs as if she owns 'em — which, of course, she does.

34. This is the only lap cat we have.
The rest are content to sit beside us. They do the we-own-you-in-bed thing, too. Hey, if a cat owns us, we're lucky. :loveya:
