I'm a damn Superman freak...My wife and I just got done talking about what we have to deal with, concerning one another. The main thing she said that she had to deal with, was my Superman freakness...

I told her the main thing I had to deal with, with her was her trait of being so damn perfect in everying

2. Its an old story Peggy...

I started watching the Superfriends show(superman, and others) when I was very young. He was such a strong figure, who tried to do every thing right, and who was loyal to every thing heroes cling too...I just admired that trait in him, at that young age.

I thought, he was the shiznit, in everying just about...he seemed to me, to be a Clint Eastwood of Superheroes(most would argue that Batman fits this role), and since that young age, I've admired what he stands for.

I'm a fan of Superman, much like a person, might be a fan of the Dodgers, or Yankee's.

I read the Superman novelization, called "Its Superman!" By Tom Dehaven, which was set in the 30's/40's, just last year...which might be the same novel, in which you read.

thats the same one I believe. In "Its Superman" he leaves home, after his mothers death, with a man, who is on the run from the mafia...he goes to Hollywood and becomes a stunt man for a short period of time.

I recommend, the novelization "Last Son's" by Alan Grant, it deals with Superman, Lobo, Martian Manhunter...and Justice League of America The Never Ending Battle by Roger Stern, and The Kingdome Come novel by Elliot S. Maggin(the graphic novel was by Alex Ross), and also The Dark Knight Returns by Frank Miller(grahpic novel which deals with Batman/Superamn, very good)

was about ....well, average...and I say that as a Miller fan. About the only saving grace was Lara, Superman's/WonderWomans kid. The Dark Knight Returns, is still my favorite, Graphic ever...although Final Night is etching closer!

19. Same here basically,

I'm a GN man personally. The last current Superman comic I got, was a JLA GN from about 4yrs ago. I thought about subscribing to DC for all 4 Superman titles, but its WAY over price, imo.

I basically buy what I see, that looks good, and is within my price range. I'm in the Scifi book club, and thats where I usually get my comic novelizations....
