no one is working. Everyone is checking out the ACC tournament. Seriously, if you don't live here in NC, especially the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hell triangle, you can't understand: people call in sick, no one does any meaningful work, court cases are postponed, fewer people are on the road.

Great atmosphere all around!

Even if your team is no longer in it, it's still fun to root for or against a particular team.

At this point, I'm an ABCer!

1. Absolutely.
I have to drive by the Greensboro Coliseum on my way to and from work, and I think I might just choose an alternate route to go home tonight. :yoiks: Nobody wants to work here today.

7. I know...
:P But there is some ACC viewing event thing going on at the Coliseum, and the streets were blocked this morning. Happens every year---either the ACC is here or the viewing event is here. :yoiks:

Thanks for looking out for me, though! :hi:

8. REally?
WOW

I don't watch near as much ball as I used to but one year I was watching the semifinals when my then girlfriend came in and said she heard running water. Turns out a pipe in our spare room had busted and had been spraying water across the room for ...oh a couple of hours or so.

5 years ago it was this weekend that after all the stuff I had been telling my now wife that I had been reading on DU she sat down at the home computer with PNAC and ABB to look up. I sat and watched the semis as the blue flicker of the monitor was all I could see in the next room-Would she think I was a nut or would she see what I had been talking about.....she came out with a diagram that linked the whole thing together masterfully. She went way deeper (the people in the think tanks) in the connections than I have ever even seen here.

4. Ah! Nothing against the Tigers of course
It's the big C, the one with "Hannibal Lecter" Hansbrough... :D

5. You can do better than that
I presume the Hannibal Lector comment is a reference to a mask he has to wear after being brutally assaulted by a player from a nearby school; unless he was arrested on cannibalism charges and that didn't make the sports pages here.

Try again please.
