HBO's ROME Anyone?: Love that Show
Edited on Fri Mar-09-07 07:27 AM by JCMach1
Anyone else hooked???

OMG could you believe the last episode (S2E7)?

Pullo caught in a bizarre love triangle... Yikes! And some of the kinkiest scenes on TV since??? Never probably!

1. The first season was great
Haven't seen the second season yet. I have to wait for it to come out on DVD. :(

3. I'm pretty hooked, even if I do know how it will end.
Servilia stabbing herself in front of Atia was kind of a shocker, though, and Pullo's execution of Cicero was pretty bloody, although the scene between them preceeding it was quite humorous.

I love the way Mark Antony is played by James Purefoy.

5. Yes. I'm a huge fan.
Very well written and acted. One of the best shows on TV. Too bad they are going to pull the plug on this one like they did Deadwood and Carnivàle. They keep killing their best shows and Showtime is right on their ass with original programming. Dexter was brilliant and I hear good things about some other shows they have.

7. Evidently, this show is just too expensive to keep going
Fortunately, as opposed to so many programs where the star-studded cast eat up all the funding, the money that they put into this program shows up onscreen. It's really quite stunning in just about every way.

6. Love it
I don't have HBO, but I do own the first season box set DVD. One of the best shows I have seen in a long time.
